"Trying to animate" and "animating" are very different things

I went in to work today (Saturday) to try animating my test with Remy... sometimes I wonder if I'm actually cut out for this.

hey hey - just stumbled across your blog. I have no idea what a TD does but good luck at Pixar!
The bear in your third year film is really nice.

You're not cut...you're ripped! Like, you know, guns, muscles, etc. Uh. Nevermind.

Hey lou,

I hear ya man, the most frustrating thing about animating is it not looking like you want it to. Sometimes I just don't do work because I'm so frustrated by the results. But something I was told (and that I've used a lot in the past few weeks) is that it's not the medal you get at the end, but the journey that matters. Kinda cheesy (no pun intended) I know, but your work is some of the best stuff I've seen, especially comming from a student. Few people are born to do what they get paid to do. You my friend were born to do this stuff. I showed some of your work to my thesis class and they were blown away by it! So don't fret man, your hard work will pay off. Just remember, you're at PIXAR baby!

It's alright my friend. Fight the good fight. Art, film, and creativity in general can be stressful. Stick to it and good things will happen
